Terms

Using Playloop, sharing questions with your group, and managing access to your games.

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and OÜ ootakorra, the private limited company registered in Estonia that runs Playloop (registry code 16545871, Suvila tn 21, Aruküla, Raasiku vald, 75201 Harju maakond, Estonia). By using Playloop you accept them. Privacy explains how we handle personal data.

Who can use Playloop

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. Younger children should only play as guests in a game run by a parent, guardian, teacher or another responsible adult, who accepts these terms for them.

The service

Playloop lets groups create quizzes, optionally contribute questions and play together on their phones. Connected AI assistants can help write quizzes and set up games; people start and play them in Playloop. Free games have the hosting limits shown in the app, and features and limits may change. Paid plans are not on sale yet. When they are, we will show the price and the terms for that purchase before you pay.

Your account and invitations

Keep sign-in codes and account access private. Share guest invitations only with people you want to join; anyone with the link can use it until it expires or you replace it. Guest access depends on the browser session unless it is saved to an account.

Your content

You keep the rights to the questions, images and other content you add. You give OÜ ootakorra permission to store, copy, display and transmit that content only to run Playloop: for the games you share it in, including their results and replays. This permission lasts while the content is in Playloop. For completed games it lasts as long as they stay available to the other players.

You are responsible for what you add. Only add material you have the right to share.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Playloop to harass anyone, share unlawful or sexually explicit material, infringe someone’s rights, or reveal private information without permission. Don’t try to access other people’s games or private contributions, get around game limits or access controls, or interfere with the service.

AI assistants and quiz answers

Questions and answer keys, including those written by an AI assistant, can be wrong. Check them before you play. AI assistants are provided by other companies under their own terms.

Suspension and ending

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts other people or the service at risk. Unless there is an urgent safety, security or legal reason, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. You can contact us if you think we made a mistake.

You can stop using Playloop and delete your account at any time. If we close Playloop, we will give at least 30 days’ notice whenever we reasonably can.

Availability and responsibility

We run Playloop with reasonable care, but network or service problems can interrupt games and we can’t promise it will always be available. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for content other players add, or for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost opportunities. This doesn’t limit our responsibility for intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. We will tell you about significant changes in Playloop at least 14 days before they apply, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

Law and disputes

Estonian law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the problem.

Consumers in Estonia can apply to the Consumer Disputes Committee (ttja.ee). Disputes go to Harju County Court in Estonia, but consumers can also use the courts where they live.
