Three picture-round ideas

Supply an image you have permission to share and a checked answer for each.

Which town is shown in this holiday photograph?
Use a recognisable landmark or a written clue; confirm the town with the photographer.
Which kitchen tool is shown in this close-up?
Choose a tool with an agreed name and alternatives at the same level of specificity.
Which hobby uses this piece of equipment?
Check that the object is not used equally in several listed hobbies.

Review the image and the answer together

Image quality is only one part of a fair question.

  • Use permission-cleared material and avoid exposing personal details in the background.
  • Check that the filename or visible caption does not give away the answer.
  • Add a useful image description; offer an equivalent text clue when needed.
  • Ensure the crop includes the evidence players need and that alternatives cannot also be correct.

Try the image on player devices

Playloop supports images in questions and choices. Test the actual image in a small game, on a phone and on any shared display you intend to use.

A description should communicate useful content rather than only saying “quiz image”. If identifying the image visually is itself the task, plan an equivalent question for someone who cannot access that clue. Mix pictures with text questions so one visual format does not determine the whole game.

Bring a question. Or just yourself.
