Rehearse the display before the event
Use a small test game so you can inspect the whole flow.
Open the display view
Use Playloop’s shared display from the host setup. Keep the hosting and preparation controls on your own device.
Connect the screen
Use the display connection that works for your equipment, such as a laptop connected to a TV. Do not assume a particular casting feature is built in.
Check from the back
Read the prompt, answer choices and any image from the farthest seat. Adjust the screen or simplify the material if necessary.
Test player joining
Have another person join and answer from a phone. Confirm that the display and player views move through the game as expected.
Do a final room check
Small practical details are easier to fix before guests sit down.
- Keep power connected and check screen-sleep settings.
- Close unrelated windows and keep notifications from covering the prompt.
- Check Wi-Fi where players will sit.
- Retain a readable player-device route if the shared display becomes unavailable.
Design questions for the screen you have
A large television does not rescue a tiny label inside a low-resolution photo. Use clear crops, short choices and descriptions where useful.
The host can pause Playloop if someone needs assistance or the room wants to discuss an answer. For remote participants, share the intended display view through your separate call and check that they can read it too. Do not rely on the shared display as their only answer interface.
