Three work-friendly question prompts
Use enough context that people from another department can have a go.
- Which city is shown in this public landmark photograph?
- Use a photo you may share and a verified location.
- Which ingredient belongs in this colleague’s shared recipe?
- Use a recipe the contributor has offered voluntarily, with the answer checked against it.
- What should we do for the next optional team social?
- Use an unscored poll with choices that fit the team’s time and budget.
Remove accidental insider tests
Read each contribution from the viewpoint of someone who joined this week.
- Explain acronyms and avoid private channel references.
- Include topics outside the company and outside one department.
- Allow a trivia question instead of a personal fact.
- Check meeting-room visibility and the game’s capacity before the invitation goes out.
Hand over the preparation
Playloop lets coworkers add their own questions privately while the organiser manages the gathering. Agree on how authors’ own questions count, and start with an easy example.
Set a finish time and leave space for people to head back to work. If colleagues are remote, use a separate call and give them the same opportunity to answer. Do not let side conversations in the meeting room reveal answers before remote players have submitted.
