Set up a small contribution workflow

Use one clear destination for questions and one channel for logistics.

  1. Choose the count

Work backwards from the game’s question allowance and expected contributors. Do not invite more required questions than the game can hold.

  2. Give topic options

Offer films, food, places and hobbies, with personal memories optional. Different briefs help avoid duplicated topics.

  3. Set a deadline

Leave time before the event to confirm readiness and help anyone who has trouble joining.

  4. Ask authors to review

Each contributor checks the answer, alternatives and wording before submitting their questions for play.

Include a short writing checklist

This is more useful than asking for “good questions” without saying what good means.

  • Ask one thing with enough context to answer it.
  • Save a correct answer you have checked against a reliable source.
  • Keep alternatives plausible and ensure only the intended ones are correct.
  • Use a poll when the question asks for a preference.

Keep coordination separate from content

Playloop lets players save private contributions. Other players, including the host, do not see those questions during preparation. Use the group chat for deadlines and joining help rather than pasted answer sheets.

Decide in advance what happens if someone cannot contribute: choose an optional contribution mode when that fits the group, or reduce the planned count. Readiness is easier to manage when the invitation describes the actual game settings.

Bring a question. Or just yourself.
