Agree the topics with the parents-to-be

A gentle quiz starts with what they are comfortable sharing.

  1. Collect approved stories

Ask for a few childhood interests, favourite stories or family traditions. Do not request private medical or pregnancy information.

  2. Check photographs

Get permission from the people pictured. A childhood-photo round should be optional, not a requirement for attending.

  3. Make room for different guests

Include book, toy or food prompts that do not depend on being a parent or knowing the family for years.

Three prompts for a short game

Use your own confirmed details for the first two prompts and keep the third unscored.

Which storybook did the parent-to-be ask to hear repeatedly as a child?
Confirm the title with them or with an agreed family source.
Which town is shown in this approved childhood photograph?
Use the actual location and avoid including an address or other unnecessary detail.
Which bedtime story should we recommend?
Collect preferences with a poll; there is no correct parenting choice.

Give the celebration room to breathe

In Playloop, friends can prepare contributions privately so one organiser does not have to write everything. Keep the question count small and stop for conversation or refreshments.

Explain that personal questions are optional and offer ordinary trivia as a substitute. Avoid presenting birth-date or name predictions as facts with a correct answer. If you want to revisit predictions later, keep your own agreed record rather than promising a future feature of the quiz.
