Two instrument starters and a personal prompt

The violin facts are checked against Yamaha’s instrument guide.

How many strings does a standard violin have?
Four. Keep “standard” in the wording so unusual variants do not muddy the question.
Are a standard violin’s strings tuned in fourths or fifths?
Fifths. This is a harder follow-up for a group that enjoys instrument questions.
Which venue hosted the first concert we attended together?
Use your own confirmed venue and name the trip or artist in the prompt.

Check what kind of credit you are asking for

The person who performs a song may not be the person who wrote it.

  • Specify performer, songwriter, album title or instrument.
  • Name the recording when a song has several well-known versions.
  • Check the artist’s or label’s official release information.
  • Avoid changing chart positions unless the chart and date are explicit.

Build variety from the group’s tastes

Ask each Playloop contributor for one question from an artist, genre or instrument they know. Request enough context for someone with different tastes to make a fair attempt.

Keep the source in your preparation notes and explain an unfamiliar answer after the reveal. If you want an audio round, plan that separately: this format uses text questions and does not depend on built-in music playback. Finish with a favourite-listening poll if the group wants to share recommendations.
